Kelly Regan was elected to the Nova Scotia Legislature in 2009.
Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, Kelly has made Nova Scotia her home since 1984. She quickly became known as an award winning journalist and director with CTV in Halifax. She followed that up with a career as a freelance television producer.
Kelly has also been active in her community as a volunteer with many organizations, including her church, ringette, and schools. She is a former president of the Nova Scotia Women's Liberal Commission, and is a founding member of the Nova Scotia chapter of Equal Voice, a multi-partisan group dedicated to increasing the number of women elected in Canada. She is proud to have been asked by Michael Ignatieff to serve on the Special Committee on Party Renewal.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo.
She has been married to Halifax West Member of Parliament Geoff Regan since 1993, and is the mother of three children.
