A Meaningful Conversation

On Monday, I was fortunate enough to be one of more than 350 people who attended the Michael Ignatieff event at Dalhousie University. The event was so popular more than 200 people had to be turned away as the room had reached capacity. The students who attended the event raised concerns about the economy, the environment, prorogation, post secondary education, and many more. The dialog and views that were expressed by the students who participated were both informative and enlightening. I look forward to working with our federal counterparts to address these important issues, and many more for the betterment of all Nova Scotians.
