Founded in 1977, the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra (NSYO) has been described as one of the finest youth orchestras in Canada. The NSYO provides students with unique educational and performance opportunities, not available at any university, public school or conservatory in the province. With a world renowned faculty, over 1000 alumni and more than 80 current students the Orchestra is a vibrant part our of Nova Scotia culture.The Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra will be performing their final concert this year, Sunday December 13th at the World Trade and Convention Centre.
