The Big Swim
Chris Dobbin, Todd McDonald, Dan MacDougall, Joachim Stroink, Meg Todd and Mark Campbell are members of a team planning to swim across the Northumberland Strait from New Brunswick to P.E.I.
The seven men and one woman are doing the swim Aug. 14 to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and Brigadoon Village, a non-profit recreational facility in the Annapolis Valley for chronically ill children.
Last year, organizer Todd MacDonald and two friends, calling themselves 3 Men in Suits, completed the swim and raised about $55,000 for charities supporting children battling illness.
