Halifax Pride Parade
July 24th marks the 23rd Annual Halifax Pride Parade. The Halifax Pride parade is the 4th largest in Canada and I have been pleased to participate and walk in the parade over the past number of years. I always find the Pride parade crowd to be one of the more engaging crowds in the province and I always have a great time participating. Unfortunately, this year I will be unable to make it but a number of my Caucus colleagues, as well as our federal cousins and a strong contingent of Nova Scotia Young Liberals, will be participating. The elected members who will be walking in the parade include Andrew Younger MLA (Dartmouth East), Kelly Regan MLA (Bedford - Birch Cove), Mike Savage MP (Dartmouth - Cole Harbour), Geoff Regan MP (Halifax West), Scott Brison MP (Kings - Hants), Federal Liberal candidate Carolyn Scott (Sackville - Eastern Shore) and Federal Liberal candidate Dr. Stan Kutcher (Halifax).
I’m sure they will have a great time and I look forward to joining them again next year.
