Free Metro Income Tax Clinics
The Canada Revenue Agency has teamed up with Halifax Public Libraries to offer a free income tax clinic for single persons earning under $25,000 or single parent or family incomes of less than $30,000. The clinics, run by community volunteers specially trained by the Canada Revenue Agency, are available at 13 metro location libraries. This service is ideal for students who need help completing their tax returns. Registration for the clinics is required, so be sure to call your local branch to book an appointment.
