Liberal Leader, Stephen McNeil, was happy to speak with concerned Digby residents, Andy Moir, Health Liaison Committee of Digby and Jim Thurber, Warden for the Municipality of Digby. The Leader listened to their concerns regarding the loss of their nurse practitioner in Province House on October 28 and promised the Official Opposition Liberals would fight on their behalf to get answers for the community.

Digby-Annapolis MLA, Harold Theriault, met with protesters from Digby and area who gathered outside Province House on October 28 to fight to have their nurse practitioner reinstated.

Liberal Leader Stephen McNeil and Michelin Waterville Plant Manager, David Griffin, gathered with employees to celebrate their 40 years of success in Nova Scotia on September 23 at Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax. Michelin employees have donated countless volunteer hours to help make their communities better places to live and work and Michelin itself has long been recognised as a significant sponsor to charitable groups and organizations throughout the province.

Liberal Leader, Stephen McNeil, was joined by (L to R) David Burnet, District Chief, Halifax Regional Municipality Fire Services; Terry Canning, Deputy Chief, Brookfield Fire Department; Fire Chief Jim Roper, Pictou Landing Fire Department; David Sponagle, Thorburn Fire Department; and Bill Falkenham, Chester Basin Volunteer Fire Department for the introduction of Liberal legislation to create a Provincial Office of Fire Services.

Stephen participated in the Bridgetown CiderFest Parade on September 14. Stephen actually attended school in Bridgetown and grew up outside the town in Upper Granville.
Stephen joined in the celebrations at the closing of the Valley Seniors' Games in Middleton.
